Each pair is cut and shaped by hand from recycled tyre rubber, then fitted with strong rubber straps and metal rivets. The deep tread on the sole grips well and the rubber flexes with your step. Many pairs are decorated with hand-beaded straps in bold Maasai triangle patterns. Because every pair is made by hand from a different piece of tyre, the shape, tread pattern and finish vary slightly, so each pair is one of a kind.
