Baobab Tree Sculpture / Handmade African Tree of Life Decor

Bring the spirit of the African savanna indoors with this handmade baobab tree sculpture. The baobab is known across Africa as the tree of life, and this piece captures its bold shape: a wide trunk that tapers upward, and thick branches that spread out like roots reaching for the sky. The trunk is built up in layers of natural brown and honey-toned fiber, which gives it a rich, striped, wood-like texture.

The tree stands on a round, woven base that keeps it steady on a floor, shelf, or stand. Its branches carry many thin twigs, so the shape looks full and sculptural from every side. The warm, earthy tones suit modern, rustic, safari, and bohemian spaces, and the tree stands well on its own as a statement piece.

Place it in a corner, beside a sofa, in an entryway, or in a lodge or office as a talking point. It is a meaningful gift for travelers, nature lovers, and anyone who loves African art, and it carries the message of strength, long life, and roots. It is for decoration only. Each tree is made by hand, so size, color, and branch shape vary slightly from piece to piece.
